The Point
To develop the natural abilities of your dog as a steady companion in the field on upland game birds. With a record of achievements, including field champions and versatile hunting dogs, Camo Bird Dogs has the experience and knowledge to expertly train and handle your dog. We will prepare your dog to compete in field trials, master in hunt tests, as a personal hunting dog, and other sport venues.
The Trainer
Marc has handled his pointing dogs to multiple AKC field trial placements, including titled Field Champions with a vizsla and an english pointer. Additionally, he has a Master Hunter and personal hunting dogs. As a field trial judge and scout, Marc has seen a multitude of all-breed pointing dogs, and has scouted dogs to their wins, including national championships. He is a sportsman, volunteer, member, and donor in support of field trials and hunting.
The Program
Your dog will be evaluated as a field trial and hunting prospect, including suggestions on a sporting venue that is best suited for your dog. All dogs enter a tiered training program, and then customized to their specific needs. Marc competes in AKC field trials with the goal to achieve Field Champion titles in open stakes. He also handles dogs in hunt tests, and will instruct on how to handle your own dog in field trials, hunt tests, and in other sporting venues.
